West District 4-H Agricultural Day

— Written By

The West District 4-H Officers and Agent Advisors are happy to announce our first ever District Ag Day. This is in lieu of State Council Conference since it was canceled for this year. The event will be on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Lodge, adjacent to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Haywood County Center office in Waynesville. It is opened to youth ages 10 and up. There will be interactive learning stations, farm tours, and lots of fun. This is going to be a great event to promote agriculture in Western North Carolina. Registration is open now and will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 18. If you are a 4-Her from Clay County and would like to register please contact Julie Lyvers by email julie_lyvers@ncsu.edu or at 828-389-6305. Cost is $20 and includes lunch, t-shirt, and goody bag. We hope to see lots of 4-H members from across the West District!
