Are you looking for a New Year’s resolution?

Protect your family in 2019 by testing your home for radon. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. January is Nation Radon Action Month. Radon can be a problem in any home – old homes, new homes, drafty homes, insulated homes, homes with basements, and homes without basements.

Radon testing is easy and kits are free at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Stokes County office. For more information, please contact Patti Snyder at pebruce@ncsu.edu or (336) 593-8179.
