Clay County 4-H members meet once monthly to: work on parliamentary procedure, exercise team building, brainstorm for fundraising, and work on various community service projects. Members plan to participate locally in the Hayesville Market bimonthly from April-October. 4-H members will create a unique project and grow produce for market donations. 4-H members also have the opportunity to participate in the Chick-Chain, raise livestock, and serve annually at the NC Mountain State Fair.
