The 2nd-grade classroom at Carolina Christian Academy recently brought science to life through the National Embryology Curriculum, giving students a hands-on opportunity to explore the life cycle in an exciting and memorable way. Through this engaging program, students learned about the stages of development while observing fertilized eggs as they grew and changed each day.

The highlight of the experience came when students witnessed their very first chick hatch right before their eyes—an unforgettable moment that sparked curiosity, excitement, and a deeper understanding of living systems. From daily observations to real-time discovery, this project helped make science meaningful and interactive.

This experience not only reinforced classroom learning but also encouraged responsibility, patience, and a genuine appreciation for the wonders of life.
