Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the 19th Annual Ag Day & Tractor Parade, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Hayesville Town Square. Hosted by the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center and the Clay County Tractor Club, this family-friendly event will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the highly anticipated tractor parade beginning at 12:00 PM. This annual celebration of agriculture and rural heritage will feature a variety of activities, food, entertainment, vendors, and more—offering something for all ages to enjoy.
A highlight of this year’s event includes a raffle and drawing for a restored 1951 Ford 8N tractor, a classic symbol of America’s farming legacy. Attendees will also enjoy hands-on activities and the opportunity to support local ag-based vendors. Those interested in participating in the parade should plan to meet at the Hayesville High School parking lot. Parade registration is $15 per entry.
