Join North Carolina Cooperative Extension Clay County Center for a two-part program on Edible Weeds.
This will begin with an introductory webinar on April 19 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM where we will discuss important safety precautions, identify some common edible weeds and learn about how to safely prepare and eat them. The following week, on April 26, we will practice identifying these weeds and look more closely at some of the identifying features of these plants.
Registration is required for both events. Participants of the April 26 plant walk are asked to view the Edible Weeds webinar in advance either live on April 19 or by viewing the recording on their own time as to not miss any important safety discussions.
