For private applicators, September 30th is the date by which many have to get renewal X and V credits to recertify their pesticide license with the NCDA. Listed below is the information about the upcoming pesticide credit sessions being hosted by the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Edgecombe County Center. These credits are offered to help ensure private applicators in the county stay up-to-date on their licenses and safety information. All sessions will be housed at the East Carolina Agriculture and Education Center located on 1175 Kingsboro Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

Just to recap the dates and times of the pesticide credit sessions:

1. Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Pesticide X Credits
2. Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Soil Fumigation Credit
3. Thursday, August 31st, 2023, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Pesticide V Credits
4. Thursday, August 31st, 2023, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Soil Fumigation Credit

Please note that attendees must be present for the entire duration of each session to receive credit; partial credit will not be given. It’s important for participants to bring their pesticide license or pesticide license numbers with them when attending these sessions.
