Clay County VolunteerVolunteers are the heart of the Clay County 4-H Program. Without them, 4-H simply
wouldn’t be possible. Every day, they help sustain and grow our programs, making it possible to reach more youth and expand our impact. They truly are the lifeblood of our organization.
With just one county agent, it’s impossible to be everywhere at once. That’s where our volunteers come in. Their time, commitment, and passion allow us to stretch our reach and provide more opportunities for young people to learn and lead. Thanks to their dedication, we’re helping to build the leaders of tomorrow.
In recent years, we’ve been fortunate to welcome even more helping hands. In 2024, we gained two new adult volunteers, and in 2025, we welcomed six more adult volunteers and one youth volunteer. These individuals not only support the overall program but also serve as dedicated club leaders. They generously share their time and talents across a variety of events and activities for youth ages 5–18—including sewing camps, robotics, cooking classes, horse events, fundraisers, and much more.
