The N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center and the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Clay County will host a hands-on class on Dividing and Potting Plants on Thursday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Downtown Discovery Garden in Hayesville. This educational program will guide participants through the process of dividing perennials and properly potting plants to encourage healthy growth and longer-lasting gardens. Attendees will learn step-by-step techniques, gain tips on plant care, and have the opportunity to practice these skills with guidance from trained volunteers. The class is free and open to the public, providing a great chance for both new and experienced gardeners to expand their knowledge while enjoying the community garden space.
