4-H & American Legion Shooting Sports Open House
September 2 | 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Are you a Clay County youth ages 8–18 (as of January 1) interested in shooting sports? Join us for our Clay County 4-H & American Legion Shooting Sports Open House!
Clay County 4-H has partnered with the American Legion to launch a new Shooting Sports Club utilizing their air rifle equipment and indoor range.
This open house is an opportunity for interested youth and their parents and/or guardians to:
- Meet the Shooting Sports coaches and volunteers who will work with participants
- Meet the Clay County 4-H Agent
- Tour and see the indoor range where practices will be held
- Learn about club rules, safety requirements, and regulations
- Ask questions about competitions and opportunities to participate
- Learn about practice dates and times
- Discuss participant commitment requirements
- Learn more about what to expect as a member of the club
Whether you are completely new to shooting sports or already have an interest in the sport, we would love for you to join us and learn more!
Youth must be ages 8–18 as of January 1 to participate. Parents and/or guardians are encouraged to attend the open house with their youth.
