Clay County’s New Ag Agent

Osborn New Ag Agent

N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center announces that Tyler Osborn has
been named the new Agriculture Agent for Clay County. Osborn has been with Clay
County Center since March 2022, starting as an administrative assistant and then
moving up to Agriculture Program Assistant. He received his BAS in Agriculture with a
concentration in Business from the University of Tennessee–Martin in August 2024.
While employed with the office, he has worked with the community helping plan
programs, delivering information to the residents, and working alongside the Extension Master Gardener Program.

Osborn, a native of Hiawassee, is excited to continue serving the citizens of Clay
County, providing them with resources, education, and up-to-date knowledge to improve the farms and home gardens in the county.
