Garden Talk Series

N.C. Cooperative Extension - Clay County Center & Clay County Extension Master Gardeners invite you to dig into gardening this season with their upcoming Garden Talk Series, a series of short seminars designed for gardeners of all experience levels. Hosted at the Downtown Discovery Garden Classroom in Hayesville, this free educational series runs from April through July and focuses on topics that matter most to local gardeners.

This year’s lineup includes:
  • From Lawn to Meadow – April 15, 10:00 AM
  • Flower Pot Design – May 21, 11:00 AM
  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM) – June 6, 9:30 AM
  • Gardening with Kids – July 10, 9:00 AM (includes hands-on activities for children)
  • Vegetable Gardening – July 24, 9:00 AM
Whether you're transitioning a yard to native plants, tackling pest issues, or looking to engage your children in outdoor learning, there's something here for everyone.

All sessions are free, but space is limited. Classes will be held outdoors at 25 Riverside Circle, and rain dates will be arranged as needed.
