Kim Terrell Named Clay County Extension Director

N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center is happy to announce that Kim Terrell has been named the County Extension Director. Kim has been serving as interim director for the past year. She began her career in Extension in 2020, serving as the Family & Consumer Science Agent in Macon County and part-time in Clay County. She will continue to serve in her role in Macon County. Kim is a native of Macon County and has a master’s degree in health science from Western Carolina University and is also a registered dietician.


Kim is excited to continue leading the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center and looks forward to continuing to serve the residents of both Clay & Macon Counties.
