Position Open – County Extension Director / Ag Agent

It is with sadness that NCCE Clay County Center announces the resignation of Lisa Gonzalez, CED & Agriculture Agent. Lisa joined our team in 2020 and has been instrumental in providing support and education to improve the lives of those in Clay County. Her inspiring leadership has not only left a lasting impression on us, but on the citizens of Clay County as well. While we will miss her and her vision and passion for Extension, we wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors!

With her resignation, Clay County Center announces the opening of County Extension Director/Ag Agent. The CED is a member of the faculty of NC State University. The primary responsibility of the job is to exercise sound judgment and provide leadership for and coordinate the efforts of the county Extension staff in developing an effective total county Extension education program. In addition, this position will have programming in Agriculture & Livestock along with community economic development. For more information or to apply, visit our job posting page.
