This program is for food service managers and supervisory staff in any food service establishment.
Certification is based on passing the ServSafe exam and satisfies the North Carolina & Georgia food code requirements for a certified food protection person in charge.
When: November 9, 2023 (one-day class)
Time: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (30 min. lunch on your own) Exam: Starts at 3 p.m. (You have 2 hours to complete)
Location: Clay County Community Room (25 Riverside Circle, Hayesville)
Fee: 1 Day Class $125.00 (2 or more from same organization receive a $25/person discount) | Exam ONLY $50.00
Note: Exam-only option is for those wishing to renew their certification and are confident in ServSafe knowledge.
The deadline to register is November 3! Space is limited! The class will be taught by Kimberly Terrell, Family and Consumer Science Agent with the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Clay County Center.
