In the Discovery Garden
The children in the Discovery After school program in Hayesville, NC have been enjoying learning about gardening. In the spring, they were able to build 3 raised beds and were able to plant a summer garden.This fall they were able to plant a few of the cool weather crops. They planted broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts, and collard greens. After a month, the plants are doing well.
