N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center announces that Tyler Osborn has been named the new Agriculture Program Assistant for Clay County. He will begin this position on April 1.

Osborn has been with Extension since March 2022 as the Administrative Assistant and is excited to be moving up to continue serving the citizens of Clay County. He is currently working on his Bachelor of Agriculture at the University of Tennessee–Martin online campus and plans to graduate in December 2024.

Tyler Osborn has been named the new Ag Program Assistant for Clay County

In this role, he will serve as a liaison between the citizens of Clay County and Extension agents, helping deliver research-based information to answer any agriculture, horticulture, or home gardening-related questions as well as helping to develop agriculture-related programming for the community. He will also work alongside the Extension Master Gardener℠ program of Clay County to help them reach their goals of providing educational opportunities to the community.
