Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the 19th Annual Ag Day & Tractor Parade, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Hayesville Town Square. Hosted by the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center and the Clay County Tractor Club, this family-friendly event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the highly anticipated tractor parade beginning at 12:00 p.m. This annual celebration of agriculture and rural heritage will feature a variety of activities, food, entertainment, vendors, and more—offering something for all ages to enjoy.

A highlight of this year’s event includes a raffle and drawing for a restored 1951 Ford 8N tractor, a classic symbol of America’s farming legacy. Attendees will also enjoy hands-on activities and the opportunity to support local ag-based vendors. Those interested in participating in the parade should plan to meet at the Hayesville High School parking lot. Parade registration is $15 per entry.

All proceeds from the event will support the Clay County Tractor Club’s community programs, which promote community scholarships. For more information, contact the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Clay County Center at (828) 389-6305.

Come out for a fun and educational day in support of local agriculture and community spirit.

Vendor Opportunities
Are you an agriculture-related service or vendor? Consider setting up a booth at the event! This is a great way to engage with the community and showcase your products or services. All funds raised from the event will go towards the Clay County Tractor Club’s annual scholarship, benefiting graduating students of Hayesville High School.
